2.2. WIRING

Respect Standard NF C 15-100 regarding the electrical installations.
Cables routed through a metal wall must be protected and insulated by sleeving or
sheathing.
Secure the cables to prevent any contact with moving parts.
If the drive is used outdoors and if the power supply cable is of the H05-VVF type,
run the cable in a UV-resistant duct, e.g. trunking.
The cable of the S&SO-RS100 io HYBRID is removable. If it becomes damaged, replace it with
an identical cable.
Leave the drive power supply cable accessible: it must be easily replaceable.
Always make a loop in the power supply cable to
prevent water from entering the drive!
The S&SO-RS100 io HYBRID is a Category II drive and
has no earth wire.
Connection to the control point is mandatory.
Switch the power supply off.

Connect the drive and the wired control point according

to the information provided in the table below.

Turn the power supply back on. Use the wired control

point to check the direction of rotation of the drive:
Press :

If the roller shutter rises, the wiring is correct:

go to the Set-up section.
If the roller shutter is lowered, move on to the next

step.
Turn off the power supply.

Switch over the brown and black wires connected to

the wired control point.
Turn the power supply back on.
3)
Press to check the direction of rotation.

Identifying the steps to be performed
Two set-up procedures are possible:

• either with the wired control point only: Procedure diagram A
• or with a Somfy io-homecontrol
The settings for the end limits depend on the type of roller shutter:
