7. Further rules and regulations for hazard-free operation of airless devices
Accident prevention regulations of trade associations
Operation of airless devices is governed by the relevant accident-prevention regulations within the Federal Republic of
Germany, in particular:
Electrical plant and equipment BGV A2, hitherto VGB 4
- Working with fluid spray systems BGV D15, hitherto VBG 87
As an operator of airless devices, you are obliged to observe the instructions and obligations of these directives. This applies
especially to the implementation of regular inspections and checks, as a rule at least annually, for which you are responsible.
These and other accident-prevention directives can be obtained from your trade association responsible.
Operators of airless devices in other countries outside Germany are required to apply and observe the relevant conditions
for operation of airless devices that apply in these countries.
CHLORINATED SOLVENTS:
- Carbon tetrachloride
- Chloroform
- Ethylene dichloride
-
METHYLENE CHLORIDE or DICHLORMETHANE
- Monochlorobenzene
- Orthodichlorobenzene
- Perchloroethylene
-
TRICHLORETHANE
- Trichlorethylene
- Benzyl chloride
Ask your materials supplier whether your solvent or coating
material contains halogenated hydrocarbons.
