Information about the S-MIG 250
A device made by Stamos Germany: from the wire feed assembly with 4 metal rolls
right through to the cart with practical storage space for welding equipment to
ensure easy transport of the device, everything was considered. Easy operation and
excellent thin metal sheet processing properties - these are the advantages of MIG-
MAG welding which uses different gases, depending on the material.
Therefore using MIG (metal inert gas) enables the processing of aluminium and alumi-
nium alloys, while the MAG (metal active gas) is meant for construction steel, boiler
steel and steel pipes from about 0.5 mm and for stainless steel and highly alloyed
steels.
