Step-by-step instructions
The welding area should be free of rust and paint. Always use a welding shield, welding
gloves and suitable protective clothing. The angle of the hose bundle in relation to the
workpiece should be about 30 degrees.
1.
Grind the workpiece in the area of the weld and the extensive area
of the ground terminals blank
good
2.
Connect the grounding clamp to the appropriate part of the workpiece.
Procedure
Please install the items in the order shown. Pay attention to the proper arrangement
of the elements as shown in the pictures. The device is not operational yet. Open the
gas flow at a pressure of 5-7 l/min. Protect the gas outlet against gusts of wind. Also
note the following: The first stages of the current controller are used for welding thin
metal sheets and the next stages are used for thicker walls. With each operation of
the switch the wire feed speed should also be adjusted. If a drop is formed at the end
of the welding wire while welding, the wire feed speed has to be increased; however if
it can be felt as the wire presses against the hose bundle, the speed has to be redu-
ced. Always use tongs to move the parts that have just been welded and to remove
encrustations at the end of the burner, as these elements are very hot. Once the arc
is ignited keep the hose bundle at an angle of about 30 degrees vertically.

Installation of the wire coil and inserting the wire
Note
1.
Open the left side door of the welder by pulling the lever.
2.
Please observe the size of the coil holder. The size must match the diameter
of the coil. Place the coil on the rack.
3.
Next pull out the wire clockwise. The beginning of the wire is usually fixed
to the coil, so that the wire can not be separated from the coil. Use a stan
dard coil. The size of the holder is in accordance with the standard.
4.
Loosen the anchor bolt on the coil holder. Then place the coil on the rack.
Attach the anchor bolt and tighten it so that the wire can not slip off. Please
remember not to attach this element too tightly, as it might negatively
impact the welding effectiveness of the device. Please keep the end of the
wire straight and free of burrs.
5.
Open the rotary knob
6.
Raise the pressure element.
