Inserting/replacing the blade
Before replacing the blade, ensure
that the equipment is switched off in
order to avoid danger and injuries!
1. Press and hold the grooved button (27)
on the bottom of the equipment and push
the blade cover (9) towards the equipment
handle
. Lift off the blade cover.

2. Remove the entire blade.
3. Fit the new blade (14). The stationary cut-
ting plate (28) must face outwards here.
Note: If the blade drive (29) is twisted,
it must be turned by hand until the
blades can be fitted.
4. Install the blade cover (9) and push it to-
wards the blade until it clicks into place.

Clean and service the unit regularly as fol-
lows. This guarantees a long life for your unit:

Check the covers and guards for dam-
age and correct position. If necessary,
replace.
•
Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing
and handles on the equipment clean. To
do this, use a damp cloth or brush.
•
Always keep the blade clean.
After using the equipment, it is imperative
to:

- Clean the blade
- Oil the blade shaft with

Slight notches on the blades can be
evened out. For this, sand down the
blades with an oil stone. Only sharp
blades can cut properly.
•
Blunt, bent or damaged blades must be
changed.
Leave any work not covered in this
manual to our Service Centre. Only
use original parts. There is a risk of
injury!
Wear gloves when handling the
blades. There is a risk of injury from
cuts!
Never use cleaning agents or solvents,
which can cause irreparable damage
to the unit. Chemicals can attack the
plastic components on the unit.
