Belts Replacement "Electric Version; Tensioning Of The Main Brush "All Versions - RCM R850N Manuel D'utilisation Et D'entretien

To replace the belts, proceed as follows:
• Remove cover 1 and door 8 and all the
fi xing elements, etc,.
• Remove split-pin 2 and slide off lever 3
for lowering main brush.
• Slacken off two screws 4 on electric mo-
tor support that controls the transmis-
sion belt 5.
• Move the same support towards the
side brush (see arrow) to slacken off the
tension of the belt 5.
• Remove belt 5 for its replacement or sli-
de it off temporarily to proceed to repla-
ce the main brush belt.
• Slacken off the belt tightener 6.
• Replace the main brush belt 7.
• Remount all parts, repeating the same
operations in opposite way.
TENSIONING OF THE MAIN BRUSH "ALL VERSIONS" (FIG.10)
• Open the belts inspection door 1.
• Loosen the nut 2 to slacken off the tensor 3.
• Tension the belt 4.
• Retighten the nut 2.

Caution!
The belt tension must be set correctly, it
must not be too taut as this will generate
excessive loads.
