7 - Installation

7.1- General information concerning installation of
products
The products should be mounted as near as possible to the
electric control cabinet and sheltered from possible impacts and
weather.
- Any obstacle between the transmitting and receiving antennas
will reduce the range of the assembly.
- The radio waves do not travel through metal walls. The
antennas must therefore not be placed in an enclosure forming
a shield, such as a metal cabinet, a reinforced concrete wall,
a steel structure or metal wall, etc. In such cases, the antenna
must be entirely exposed. Failure to do so will result in strongly
downgraded performance :
