4 - Operating principle
4.1- General information
The ISIS data transmission system is designed to transmit 8 logic
states from one point of an installation to another.
Unidirectional link :
The transmitter ISE transmits the logic states of its inputs by radio
to the receiver ISRA (8 outputs) or ISRS (4 outputs) which
decodes the states and restores them on its relay outputs.
Bidirectional link:
The transceiver IST includes in one case, a transmitter module
and receiver module.
The transmitter module from the fi rst transceiver IST sends
the logic states of its inputs to the receiver module of the 2nd
transceiver IST and vice versa.
The logic states are transmitted on a radio channel with a coded
identifi er (identity code).
IMPORTANT :
We strongly recommend that you confi gure your transmitter
and receiver or both transceivers* on a communication
frequency which is not used at your site ; the identity code should
also be customized to avoid any interference with other radio
systems installed in the vicinity.
If several radio systems coexist on the same site, some
precautions should be taken for installation. To do this, please
respect the rules described in the paragraph «Product installation
safety requirements».
*= each «Transmitter Module / Receiver Module» couple will have to work
with a different identity code and different radio channel.
