ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The boiler must be electrically bonded to
ground in accordance with the require-
ments of the Authority having jurisdiction
or, in the absence of such requirements,
wit h t he National Electr ical Code,
ANSI/NFPA 70 and or the Canadian Elec-
trical Code Part I, CSA C22. 1 , Electrical
Code. The power supply must be single-
phase 120 V-60 Hz througth a main switch
protected by a fuse with a distance of a
least 3 mm (0. 1 2 in) between contacts.
NOTE:
The boiler must be connected with an effi-
cient grounding system. SIME shall not
be held liable for injury or damage resul-
ting from failure to ground the boiler.
2.9. 1 Room stat connection
(fig. 15 pos. A)
To gain access to the electronic board con-
nector (3), remove the control panel cover
and connect the room stat to the terminals
TA after having removed the jumper.

The thermostat or timer-thermostat,
recommended for better room temperatu-
re control, must be clean contact.
WARNING: Applying line voltage to the
terminals of conector (3) will irreparably
damage the control board. Make sure
that any connections to be made are not
carrying line voltage.

"Logica Remote Control"

The electrical plant must comply with local
standards and all cables must comply with
low safety voltage requirements.
For lengths up to 25 m (82 ft), use cables
of section 0.25 mm

assemble and wire the socket (2), then
insert the equipment which will start-up as
soon as it receives current.
To gain access to connector (3) remove the
control panel cover and connect the climate
regulator to terminals CR.
WARNING: External voltage must not be

2.9.3 External temperature

2.9.4 D.H.W. sensor connection
The model "PLANET DEWY 30 BFT" boiler
is supplied with a D.H.W. sensor (SB) con-
nected to connector
J2 (3 fig. 15).
When the boiler is connected up the indi-
rect D.H.W. unit, introduce the sensor into
the sheath on the flange for inspection, con-
trol and cleaning of the tank unit.
