4 - COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM

4.1 - UNICO MASTER AND WALL SPLIT COMMUNICATION LINE

from the SPlit unit route the cable through the hole drilled in the wall and along the duct until it reaches the
terminal board of the UNICO unit (fig. 36).
UNICO MASTER
Fasten the wires to the terminals (fig. 36).
n.B.: the G contact only ever refers to the cable shielding.
WALL SPLIT
- Unscrew the fixing screw of the terminal board cover (fig.35).
- remove the cover to access the terminal board.
- run the cable through the hole in the back of the unit.
- fasten the cable with the cable clamp.
- Fasten the cables to the terminal board like in the figure.
- Close the door and fasten with its screw.
The communication cable between the two units must be shielded with the following specifications:
- 2-pole plus shield
- maximum length 15 metres
- minimum cable section 0.35 mm2.

4.2 - RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ENERGY SAVINGS

Below find simple recommendations for reducing consumption:
• Always and constantly keep the filters clean (see maintenance and cleaning chapter).
• Keep the doors and windows of the rooms to be climate controlled closed.
• avoid the sun's rays penetrating freely into the room (we recommend using curtains or lowering blinds or
closing the shutters).
• Do not obstruct the unit air flow (inlet and outlet), i.e. in addition to bad performance of the system, it also
affects correct operation and the possibility of irreparable faults to the units.
