Problem

Needle packets not adjusted correct-

Remedy
Apply paint in thinner layers to create
correct evaporation conditions
Use the recommended thinner only
Proceed as described in this table for
"Orange skin" and "Excessive paint
droplet size"
Select a correct needle/nozzle set for
the substance used
Clean or replace the nozzle
Tighten the lid or replace the seal
Clean or replace substance pipe
For the check: remove the cup (but
not the lid). Pull off and check the
gun to identify if air is escaping from
the non-return valve. Clean or replace
the non-return valve if the air is una-
ble to flow freely.
Clean the gun body using solvent and
a brush. Adjusting the needle packets
Replace the screen if it is clogged
or remove it if the substance is very
viscous
Check whether the substance noz-
zle is loose or whether the nozzle or
needle have been deformed; tighten
the nozzle or replace the correspon-
ding parts
Soak air cap and/or substance nozzle
in solvent. Clean the air cap holes
using non-metal objects only to pre-
vent damage
