Troubleshooting
1. Complete the pressure relief procedure before any cleaning, testing or maintenance work on the device.
2. Check all other, potential causes and issues prior to disassembling the gun.
Problem
Irregular paint surface
Orange skin effect
Formation of film - clear coats
demonstrate a milky appearance
Formation of "fish eyes" - small stains
on the painted surface are not cover-
ed
Paint runner formation
Translation of the original instruction
Cause
Excessive paint droplet size
Paint droplets dry to quickly and thus
cannot escape from the gun
Spraying at low temperatures
Condensation forms in the lacquer
when sprayed in hot, humid condi-
tions.
Silicone contamination caused by
lubricant, grease, polish or wax on
the surface for spraying
An excessive amount of paint is
applied per coat so that paint cannot
dry properly

Remedy
Maintain correct spraying distance.
Keep the turbine air filter clean to
enable unobstructed air flow.
Do not use excessively long air hoses
to maintain a sufficient atomiser
pressure.
Dilute the substance if the droplets
are still too large.
Do not expose the object for spraying
to direct sunlight. In warmer tempe-
ratures use a solvent or thinner that
evaporates more slowly.
If possible, the substance and the
object for spraying must have room
temperature. The majority of paint
becomes too thick to flow properly
when applied to cold surfaces.
Warm up the turbine for a few minu-
tes before spraying.
Store lacquer at room temperature
and do not place on concrete floors.
Apply thinner coating substances and
allow to dry properly.
Use a solvent or thinner that evapo-
rates more slowly.
Do not spray in windy conditions.
Clean all parts using a cleaning
solution; wipe with a dry cloth. If
necessary, replace the cloth. If the
issue persists, use an adequate agent
to remove "fish eyes".
Move the gun more quickly or reduce
the supply quantity.
Maintain correct spraying distance.
Reduce the thinner quantity or use a
thinner that dries more quickly.
