Replacing the turbine
It is MANDATORY to use thread adhesive during turbine
assembly.
See parts drawing.
1.
Observe the "Disassembling the spraying device" section.
2
Remove the seals (21).
3.
Remove the three screws (14) from the spacer (38).
4.
Remove the plate (15) and the three spacers (38).
5.
Pull off the motor wires from the connectors.
6.
Twist the turbine (11) from the fitting at the output (29)
and lift it from the spacers (41).
7.
Remove the three screws (14) from the spacer (41).
8.
Remove the three spacers (41).
9.
Install new seals (21, 23, 24, 59 and 60). Use solvent
naphta (white spirit) to remove adhesive residue from
older seals.
10.
Re-assemble the turbine and for this purpose, apply pri-
mer-free, extra strong thread adhesive to the three screws
(14). Also apply thread adhesive to the internal threads of
the spacers (38).
Note: make sure that the protective earth conductor is
connected as it was before, between the turbine (11) at the
opening and spacer (41).
.
Use the thread adhesive enclosed with the turbine spare
part kit to prevent the spacers from coming loose as a
result of turbine vibrations. Premature turbine failure may
result from not using the thread adhesive.
11.
Use a combination square and attach it to the longest
side of the turbine pipe (22) to be able to vertically attach
the turbine pipe to the basis (2). Hold the turbine pipe
and carefully remove the combination square to vertically
attach the turbine pipe to the edge of the base. Position
the spraying device upside down and carefully push the
base plate and the associated parts (see page 14) into the
HVLP box (1).
Note: maintain the alignment of the turbine pipe.
12.
Reconnect the cables. Attach the input connector (61) to
the HVLP box using two screws (101).
