Preface
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by technically
qualified personnel. All instructions in this manual should be
read and understood before starting any work with the Smart-
Comfort. For safety reasons, no modifications or amendments
are allowed.
Warning!
Before starting installation work, the power
supply must be disconnected. Make sure to
adhere to valid safety regulations.

Vorwort
Installation und Wartung müssen von Fachpersonal ausgeführt
werden. Vor dem Einsatz von SmartComfort müssen alle An-
weisungen in diesem Handbuch sorgfältig durchgelesen und
befolgt werden. Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen keine Änder-
ungen oder Erweiterungen vorgenommen werden.
Warnung!
Achten Sie darauf, dass vor Beginn der Installations-
arbeiten die Stromversorgung unterbrochen wird
und dass die geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften
eingehalten werden.

Raumeinheit SmartComfort RT mit Kabel:
Die Raumeinheit wird mit einem 15 m Kabel geliefert.
Das Kabel kann bis max. 45 m verlängert werden.
Verlängerungskabel um 15 m gibt es als Zubehör.
Schliessen Sie das Anschlusskabel an die mit
gekennzeichnete Buchse an der Mischerautomatik an.

Mounting of Room Temperature Unit with
LK 120 or LK 130 SmartComfort
The room temperature unit should be mounted at a place that
has an average temperature of the house. For optimal perfor-
mance radiator thermostats in the room where the temperature
unit is installed should be set in fully open position.
Important! The room temperature unit is neither splash-
nor drip-proof, therefore it must be mounted at a dry
place. It must not be placed where it can be affected by
direct sunshine, heat radiation or draught.
A suitable place is an inner wall in the living room about 1.5 m
above the floor. See mounting picture.
To ensure good air circulation a spacer ring should be placed
between wall and room unit. An opening for the cable is made
with a suitable tool.

Montage der Raumeinheit zusammen mit
LK 110, LK 120 und LK 130 SmartComfort
Die Raumeinheit soll an einem zentralen Platz im Haus installiert
werden. Für eine optimale Funktion müssen Heizkörperthermo-
state, in dem Raum, wo die Raumeinheit installiert ist, vollständig
geöffnet sein.
Wichtig! Die Raumeinheit ist nicht spritzwasser- oder
tropfwassergeschützt und darf daher nur an trockener
Stelle montiert werden. Die Raumeinheit darf nicht von
Zug, Sonnenschein oder anderer Wärmestrahlung beein-
flusst werden.
Die optimale Stelle ist oft eine Innenwand des Wohnzimmers
in der Höhe ca. 1,5 m von Boden. Sehen Sie das Montagebild.
Um gute Luftzirkulation sicherzustellen sollte ein Distanz-
ring zwischen Wand und Raumeinheit angebracht werden.
Eine Öffnung für das Kabel wird mit geeignetem Werkzeug
gemacht.
