Troubles – Causes- Troubleshooting
Warning: Always check the oveheating fuses first !

Cause
No system voltage
Motor will not start
The pump impeller blocked
Foot valve missing or leaking or obstructed.
Foot valve not in the water
Pump body without any water
Pump not sucking
Air bubbles in the suction line
Connections not tight , the pump takes the air in,
the pump not de-aerated
Suction lift too high
Fouled foot valve strainer
Insufficient amount of
Water level falling too quickly
delivered water
Thermal cut-out has put the pump off as it was
overheated.

Foreign objects (e.g. pebbles) have stuck in the
suction hole.
Inspections and Maintenance
Apart from cases described below, the pump should be sent to the customer servicing for repair.
Check the air pressure in the air receiver on the supply valve (under the black cover) on a regular basis (every 3 months) using a
special inflator with a pressure gauges (tyre pump) as follows:
Unplug the pump .
Open the appliance, water cock etc.
Using a special inflator, adjust the air pressure to 1.5 ± 0.3 bar
Inspections and Maintenance Safety Instructions
Before any maintenance of the pump, stop the electric current supply (unplug) and make sure that the pump is not being put in
operation.
Only a unit maintained and cared for on a regular basis may be a serviceable aid. Insufficient maintenance and care may result in
emergencies and unforeseen accidents.

Using a screwdriver, turn the motor shaft via the fan
cover.
Fit the foot valve or clean it
Immerse the suction valve in water
Fill the pump body
Check the suction lift of the pump
Check the suction line for leakage
Repeat wiring carefully proceeding according to chapter
"Putting in Operation"!
Check the suction lift
Clean the strainer
Put the foot valve lower
Clean the pump and replace parts getting worn too
quickly.
Let the unit cool down!
Dismantle and clean the pump. Prevent the foreign
objects from being sucked in.
