● Danger to life if the unit falls with means of
transport/lifting gear which are not permis-
sible or are incorrectly attached. Observe
applicable safety and accident prevention
requirements. Attach means of transport
(cables, chains etc.) only at the two transport
lugs. Observe the centre of gravity (middle)
during transport. Observe the maximum
permitted loading capacity for lifting gear and
means of transport. Work wearing protective
gloves. Do not stand under a suspended load.
Check unit for transport damage.
● Risk of injury/unit damage if the fan (27 to
80 kg, depending on type) or an object falls
during installation, removal, cleaning, main-
tenance or repair. Protect work areas against
unauthorised access, falls and falling objects.
Observe applicable accident prevention
requirements.
● Risk of injury when working at heights. Use
appropriate climbing aids (ladders). Stability
should be ensured, if necessary have the
climbing aids steadied by a 2nd person.
