1. Move and hold the locking ring [13.1] as
shown in Fig. E.
2. Pull the empty conduit out of the elbow.
3. Guide the connecting cable through the
empty conduit and the elbow into the
terminal compartment.
4. Insert the empty conduit into the elbow up
to stop, until it clicks into place. If neces-
sary, push back the locking ring. Check the
correct fit and press the duct against the
elbow piece again. NOTICE: Observe degree
of protection.

11 Earthing connection

WARNING: Degree of protection only
guaranteed if the earthing connection is
correctly installed.
Only earth the outside of the housing with
suitable earthing material.
Earthing strap [7] for MDR units optional.
For MDR-PG and MDR-VG variants, the
earthing strap is included in delivery and
already pre-assembled.
