(tightening torque of lock nut 10 Nm).
Then place the housing [3] and fasten with
both nuts [3.1] (tightening torque 20 Nm).
For MDR-PG variants, connect the pressure
transducer hose [19] to the pressure
controller. Be careful not to kink the tube.
Make sure that the tubes [19] and [20] are
correctly positioned, firmly seated and have
unimpeded access to the air supply. Ensure
that the insect protection funnel [5.1] on
the tube [19] is clean.
7. Check the free movement of the shutters.
To do this, bring both shutter halves to the
middle up to the stop and release. When
functioning correctly, the shutters automati-
cally return to their original position.
8. With a free inlet, fit a Maico SGR protec-
tive grille as protection against accidental
contact/drawing in.
9.3 Installation on a roof socket suitable
for the MDR unit
1. Proceed as described in Chapter 9.2, steps
1 to 4.
