Fault
X-zone cannot be charged.
X-zone cannot be charged with an
intrinsically safe power supply.
Battery life is low.
No wireless connection between the
X-zone devices.

Cause
Charging unit plug is not in correct
contact with the X-zone device.
Inductive charging is not functioning
correctly as the distance between the
X-zone device and the charging cradle is
too great.
Plug not in correct contact.
No voltage supplied by supply unit.

Outdoor temperature is too low.
Outdoor temperature is very high.

Remedy
Ensure that the charging unit plug is
correctly plugged in.
Check the battery LED.
Check the distance, remove any dirt if
necessary.
Make sure the plug is inserted correctly.
Where applicable, clear the area of any
contamination.
Check supply unit. Where applicable,
switch on supply unit.
Charge battery for at least 14 h - 24 Ah.
Charge battery regularly even when
switched off, at least every 2 months.
Warm up the X-zone device.
Use safety housing where appropriate.
Have the battery checked by
DrägerService.
Check the distance, remove any dirt if
necessary.
Activate the wireless function using the
Dräger CC-Vision PC software (see
Chapter 11 on Page 60).
Position the X-zone devices more closely
together.
Position additional devices in the chain.
Place X-zone devices at a higher position,
use base (order no. 83 20 645) if
necessary.
Position X-zone more closely together.
Place additional devices into the chain.
Connect the X-zone with a communication
cable (see Chapter 5 on Page 51).
