When saving to the internal memory or USB stick, keep in mind that files with the same name
are irreparably overwritten. However, you can create personal folders with other names in the
USB stick, as well as rename your . mem files. When loading into Chorum 10, however, the
.mem files must always be named with numbers from 1 to 12 and must be found in the
'organ\memories' folder.

6.5 ORCHESTRAL VOICES AND ORGAN STYLES IN COMBINATIONS

Normally, combinations store the on-off status of registers (also orchestral), tremolo, Split and sub-super
octave setting. Chorum 10 also allows to memorize the type of orchestral voice for each register (that is,
for example, the same button in a combination plays the piano and in another the trumpet) and which
organ style must be recalled. To enable these memorizations, follow this procedure:
1.
Holding down the [SET] button press the [REC] button: all LEDs on the panel flash twice.
2A.
Use the [MEMORY] button to enable or disable the memorization of orchestral voices,
according to the rule:
-
Only the [INT] LED is on: memorizing is disabled (only the register status is stored)
-
Both [INT] and [USB] LEDs are on: memorizing of orchestral voices is enabled
2B.
Use the [STYLE] button to enable or disable styles memorization, according to the rule:
-
Only the [INT] LED is on: memorizing is disabled
-
Both [INT] and [USB] LEDs are on: memorizing is en<abled
3.
Press the [REC] button to return to normal operation.

6.6 OPERATING SYSTEM UPDATE

Whenever a Chorum 10 operating system update file is released, it will be made available on the website
www.viscountinstruments.com. After downloading the file, copy it to the root folder of a USB stick and
insert the pen into the connector [
Keeping the [TRANSPOSER] and [REC] buttons pressed, turn the instrument on: if the USB pen and the
update file are recognized and validated, the led [WERKMEISTER III] and a register of the Manual I
section start to flash alternately to indicate that the update has started, after which they stop flashing.
Reboot the instrument. If the USB stick or update file is not recognized or validated, the LEDs of the
above buttons do not start flashing and the panel remains completely off. In this case, turn the instrument
off using the [POWER] switch, then try another update. If this should also fail to download the file again
and/or use another USB stick, then redo the update.

6.7 DISPLAYING THE OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION

To be informed about the version of the operating system currently installed on the instrument, follow this
procedure:
1.
Holding down the [SET] button press the [REC] button: all LEDs on the panel flash twice.
2.
Press and hold the button [1]: the LEDs of the registers display the installed version number,
indicated as X.Y according to the rule:
-
The registers of the Bass and Manual I sections indicate the number X, from left to right
starting from "1", the last register indicates the number "0". If, for example, the LED of
the second register is on, this means that X is "2".
