Solution
Check presence of mains current.
Check the position of the batteries in the battery compartment.
Verify the valve head and membrane are clean and not damaged.
Ensure the membrane is attached correctly to the valve head.
Check the lateral position of the valve.
Check all connections.
Check the ends of the tubing fit securely into the back of the
connector and into the port on the breast pump.
Do not kink the tubing during expression.
Ensure the breast shield forms a complete seal around the breast.
Rinse out the tubing.
Shake out any water droplets.
Hang up the tubing to air-dry.
Turn off the pump and unplug from power source.
Remove and clean the tubing.
Shake out water droplets and hang to air-dry.
Turn off the pump and unplug from power source.
1. Open the battery cover, remove the expanded-plastic liner. Wash
the expanded-plastic liner with clear, lukewarm water and squeeze
out well. Allow to dry thoroughly.
2. Pour about 200 ml of warm soapy water into a container.
3. Connect the tubing and the power cable onto the pump.
4. Hold the device with the control button upwards over a basin and
switch on. Press
set by pressing
5. Hold the end of the tubing that is not connected to the pump in
the container with the soapy water.
6. The water is pumped through the tubing into the device.
Allow it to pump until all the water has been flushed through.
7. Repeat procedure with 100 ml of clear, warm water.
8. Then leave the device switched on for 3 minutes, until the pump
is completely dry.
9. As soon as the expanded-plastic liner is dry, put it in place again
and close the battery cover.
10. If necessary, clean the pump set according to cleaning instruc-
tions „Prior to first use and once daily".
and ensure that the lowest vacuum level is
twice.
