Caution: Be very careful to move the saw disc on the slide in order to prevent any damage of the diamond disc!

Sharpening is done by sliding the slide forward and backward.
Mind the slide set up to provide for the hard metal surface to
be sharpened The oblong hole in the slide works as a stop.

Here, it is clear that the feed slide is set in parallel to the
grinding wheel and the slide goes to the stop, the grinding
wheel works the hard metal surface only. Also, the set up to
work smaller grinding wheel.
A stop needle should be mounted on to avoid grinding the saw
disc. It should be calibrated and locked in place with a socket
wrench.
