Only use moderate force to turn the handwheel as far as the stop.
1. Disconnect the downstream equipment and accessories from the appliance.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the gas extraction point.
3. Fasten the protective caps on the connections.
4. Store the pressure regulator in a clean, dust-free and dry place until the next
time it needs to be used.
5. If the pressure regulator is out of use for a prolonged period, it should be
cleaned (see Section "Maintenance and care").
It is also vital to ensure that maintenance intervals are observed for appliances in storage.
Only pressure regulators that have been properly maintained whilst in storage may be put
to use when taken out of storage.
5.2.2 Non-adjustable pressure regulators
1. Disconnect the pressure regulator from the gas extraction point.
2. Disconnect the accessories from the appliance.
3. Fasten the protective caps on the appliance's connections.
4. Store the pressure regulator in a clean, dust-free and dry place until the next
time it needs to be used.
5. If the pressure regulator is out of use for a prolonged period, it should be
cleaned (see Section "Maintenance and care").

MaINTENaNCE aND CaRE
Non-compliance with the maintenance and care instructions for the appliance
can result in severe injury to the patient.
Foreign matter must not get inside the appliance. The pressure regulator may
not be immersed in liquid!
The pressure regulator may not be sterilised!

Cleaning and disinfecting

All of the inlet and outlet connections on the appliance must be sealed with suitable
and clean protective caps/plugs prior to cleaning and disinfecting the equipment.
