GAS OPERATION ADJUSTMENT
AIR BREATHER
This adjustment is performed by opening the special screw pla-
ced on the minimum gas pressure switch mounted on the gas
train.
AIR PRESSURE SWITCH
Only adjust the air pressure switch after having performed all
other burner adjustments with the air pressure switch set to start
of scale.
With the burner operating at minimum potential, increase adjust-
ment pressure by slowly turning the special knob clockwise until
the burner is locked.
The turn backwards by 1 mbar and repeat burner start-up to en-
sure function is regular and uniform; if a lock occurs, turn
backwards a further 0.5 mbar.
MAXIMUM AIR PRESSURE SWITCH
Only adjust maximum gas pressure switch after having adjusted
the air pressure switch.
With the burner operating at maximum potential, reduce adjust-
ment pressure by turning the adjustment knob anticlockwise until
the burner comes to a halt.
If the burner stops again, increase pressure by a further 1 mbar.
GAS BUTTERFLY
The gas butterfly is fitted with an external adjustment unit (see fig.
opposite), which assists subsequent cam calibration at low mains
pressures.
Lock ring B cab be used to modify the throughput cross-section
at minimum potential.
0 - minimum aperture
2 - maximum aperture
Having set the adjustment, lock with screw A.
AIR/GAS RATIO ADJUSTMENT
The final setting of gas delivery in relation to air delivery should
be performed after having defined operating conditions for oil
operation; this final setting is obtained by changing the profile of
cam 21)(Fig. 2).
