WARNING
The unit is not waterproof. DO NOT submerge in water. To
prevent any injury or damage, do not operate if unit has
been submerged in water.
WARNING
To avoid the risk of fire or unit malfunction do not obstruct
the air intake openings or the air exhaust openings located
on the outer housing of the unit.
WARNING
To avoid any injury or damage to the unit, when wall
mounting only use the special bracket provided with the
appropriate hardware suitable for a cement or brick and
unit weight.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, the QTS-1 appliance is to be
mounted on a countertop of noncombustible material and
surface finish with no combustible material against the
underside, or on noncombustible slabs or arches, and
have no combustible material against the underside. Such
construction shall in all cases extend not less than
305 mm (12") beyond the equipment on all sides.
CAUTION
To avoid any injury or damage, locate the unit at the
proper counter height, in an area that is convenient for
use. The location should be level to prevent the unit or its
contents from accidentally falling, and strong enough to

installed between the unit and the main supply. The switch
must be rated properly and have contacts with a minimum
opening distance of 3 mm.
CAUTION
To assure safe and proper operation the supply voltage
must not differ from the rated voltage value by ±10% and
must be connected to a system and uniform potential.
NOTICE
