INSTALLATION

General

Glo-Ray Carving Stations are shipped with most components
®
pre-assembled. Care should be taken when unpacking shipping
carton to avoid damage to the unit and components enclosed.
WARNING
FIRE HAZARD: Locate unit a minimum of 1" (25 mm) from
combustible walls and materials. If safe distances are not
maintained, discoloration or combustion could occur.
Locate unit at proper counter height in an area that is
convenient for use. The location should be level to prevent
unit or its contents from falling accidentally and strong
enough to support the weight of unit and contents.
1. Remove the unit from the carton and place it upside down
on the cardboard.
NOTE: To prevent delay in obtaining warranty coverage,
complete online warranty registration. See the
IMPORTANT OWNER INFORMATION section for
details.
2. Remove tape and protective packaging from all surfaces
of the unit.
3. Place unit in the desired location.
• Locate the unit in an area where the ambient air
temperature is constant and a minimum of 70° F (21° C).
Avoid areas that may be subject to active air movements
or currents (i.e., near exterior doors, exhaust fans/
hoods, air conditioning ducts, etc...).
• Make sure the unit is at the proper counter height in an
area convenient for use.
• Make sure the countertop is level and strong enough to
support the weight of the unit and food product.
• Make sure all the feet on the bottom of the unit are
positioned securely on the countertop.

4. Install the sneeze guard(s).
a. Align the screws with the holes in the sneeze guard.
b. Put a spacer on each screw.
c. Align the screws into the holes on the top housing.
d. Tighten the acorn nuts to each screw from underneath
the top housing.
5. Adjust the unit to the desired height.
a. Loosen the height adjustment knobs on the back of the
unit 1/4-turn.
NOTE: Do NOT loosen more than 1/2-turn or the internal nut
will fall off, making the unit non-adjustable.
b. Raise or lower the unit to desired height and tighten the
height adjustment knobs.
