Press the AREA key.
The meter enters the area measurement mode
and the laser pointer is switched on. A rectangle
with one edge flashing will appear.

Point the laser to the target and long press the
READ-key, to measure the first edge (length).
The length will appear in the first line of the
screen. The second edge (width) will flash.

Point the laser to the target and long press the
READ-key, to measure the second edge
(width).
The width will appear in the second line of the
screen.
The area will be calculated automatically by the
meter, and the result is shown in the result line.

Press the Clear-key, until you enter the normal
measuring mode again.

In normal mode, double press the AREA /
VOLUME-key.
The meter enters volume mode. The laser pointer
is switched on. A cube with one edge flashing will
appear.

Point the laser to the target and press the
READ-key, to measure the first edge (length).
The length will appear in the first line of the
screen.

In the same way measure the width and the
height of the cube.
Volume will be calculated automatically by the
meter and the result is shown in the result line.

Press the Clear-key, until you enter the normal
measuring mode again.
