11. Use a hobby knife and #11 blade to remove the covering for the fuel
tank overfl ow.
There are two choices for the overflow location in the
bottom of the fuselage. Open only one location.
12. Secure the fuel tank in the fuselage using hook and loop straps.
Use foam rubber under the tank to keep it from moving inside the
fuselage.
13. Slide a nut from the fuel overfl ow on the overfl ow tube coming from
the fuel tank.
14. Route the overfl ow through the hole in the fuselage and fi t the
overfl ow fi tting to the tube.
15. Slide the fi tting into position. Use the nut to secure the fi tting in the
fuselage.

16. Thread the pushrod into the ball link that has been pre-installed on
the carburetor arm.
17. Slide the M6 x 100 socket head cap screws through the holes in the
engine mount. The 72mm spacers are then slid on the bolts.
Use the M5 x 90 socket head bolts and 47mm spacers
when installing the Evolution
®
33GX engine.
18. Position the engine and connect the line from the clunk with the
fi lter to the carburetor. Make sure to guide the throttle pushrod into
the pushrod tube in the fuselage.
19. Install the bolts and tighten them to secure the engine to the fi rewall.
20. The blind nuts are installed inside the fuselage to complete the
engine installation. Use four M6 blind nuts when installing the
Evolution 62GX.
Use four M5 blind nuts to install the 33GX engine.
