WING INSTALLATION

1. Attach the forward cabane struts to the sides of the fuselage using
M3 x 10 button head screws and M3 washers. Apply a drop of high-
strength thread lock on each screw before installation. Tighten the
screws using a 2mm hex wrench.
 Refer to checking the blind nuts on Page 6
before installing the screws.
 The right and left cabane struts will only fit
on the correct side of the fuselage.
2. Temporarily attach the rear cabane strut to the fuselage using an M3
x 10 button head cap screw and M3 washer.
3. Attach the front cabane strut fi tting to the bottom of the top wing
center section using an M3 x 10 button head cap screw, M3 lock
washer and M3 washer. The forward fi tting angles forward at a
greater angle than the rear fi tting.
 Refer to checking the blind nuts on Page 6
before installing the screws.
4. Attach the rear cabane strut fi tting to the bottom of the top wing
center section using an M3 x 10 button head cap screw, M3 lock
washer and M3 washer. The rear fi tting angles forward at a lesser
angle than the forward fi tting.
 Refer to checking the blind nuts on Page 6
before installing the screws.

5. Install all four fi tting at this time.
6. Fit the top wing center section to the cabane struts. Slide an M3
washer on an M3 x 20 button head screw. Slide the screw through
the fi tting and forward cabane. Secure the screw using an M3
locknut. Tighten the hardware using a 2mm hex wrench and 5.5mm
nut driver. Install the hardware for both the left and right sides at this
time.
7. Slide a M3 washer on an M3 x 20 button head screw. Slide the
screw through the fi tting and rear cabane. Secure the screw using
an M3 locknut. Tighten the hardware using a 2mm hex wrench and
5.5mm nut driver. Install the hardware for both the left and right
sides at this time.
 Loosen or remove the rear cabane from the fuselage if
necessary. Make sure to use thread lock on the screw
at the fuselage to prevent it from vibrating loose.
8. Route the servo lead along the forward cabane strut and into the
center panel. Use red vinyl tape to attach the lead to the cabane.
9. Slide the wing tube into the center panel, then slide the top wing
on the tube. Connect the servo leads and slide the panels tightly
together. Use an M4 x 15 socket head cap screw and M4 washer to
secure the outer panel to the center panel.

before installing the screws.
 Place a drop of canopy glue on the washer to glue it to the screw
so it does not fall into the wing when removing the screw.
