planer sole resting on the workpiece.
Switch off the electric planer.
Risk of injury from open blades

With both hands, feed the planer evenly
forward along the edge of the wood.
Emptying collecting bag
Risk of damage to machine from
overheating through build­up of
shavings! Empty collecting bag regular­
ly!
Risk of injury. Always unplug from
mains before emptying!
Grasp collecting bag by the adapter and
pull it out of the socket. Open zip fastener
and empty completely.
Using a screwdriver, carefully loosen any
wood shavings blocking the socket and
shake them out.
Close zip fastener and re­attach collecting
bag.

• Before starting work: check cable and
mains plug for damage. In case of fault:
do not operate the electric planer! Have
fault repaired by approved specialist!
• While planing: empty collecting bag
regularly, every 3 to 6 minutes, depend­
ing on the quantity of shavings pro­
duced. To prevent overheating, do not
allow shavings to build up in the planer!
