The symbols Hz, ms and % disappear. There are no more units; the instrument
simply counts the number of pulses received.

Remarks :
- As standard, the instrument counts metres or feet, with a measurement
definition equal to the circumference of the mechanical adaptor used, i.e. 0.1 m
or 0.328 ft. This definition can be modified by changing K.
- On counting mode, the MIN/MAX record, SMOOTH and manual RANGE
functions are not available. Pressing one of these buttons sets off a 4 kHz
beep.
PRINTING (C.A 27 only)
This function is only available on measurement, PRGM is not visible on the
display.
The
PRINT
on a printer. This must obviously be connected to the COM socket (digital output)
of the tachometer. Each time
series of data at the RS 232 standard in the form :
<function> 3 spaces <measurement> 3 spaces <unit>
Each group is separated by 3 spaces. The output finishes with a carriage return
and 2 line advance.The contents of each group is as follows :
- <function>: indicates where the measurement that follows is from, that
is to say MES (current measurement), MIN, MAX, HOLD, COUNT or
SMOOTH.
- <measurement> contains the digital value of the measurement on 5
digits, plus possibly the decimal point.
- <units> contains the measurement symbol displayed (rpm, Hz, etc...).
For COUNT on Hz, ms or %, the unit printed is «imp.» (pulse).
