CHOICE OF THE MEASUREMENT FUNCTION

The selection of the measurement function is done with the 8 position rotary switch.
OFF position: Off
Rpm position: Measurement of rotational speed in revs per minute (rpm)
M/min position: Measurement of the linear speed in metres per minute (m/min)
Hz position: Measurement of frequency in Hertz (Hz)
ms position: Measurements of periodicity in milliseconds (ms)
% position: Measurement of the duty in %
RPM position: Measurement of the rotational speed in revolutions per minute
(RPM)
Ft/min position: Measurement of the linear speed in feet per minute (ft/min)
The table below indicates the measurement extent of each function.

When operating on the measurement range extended to 0.1 Hz, the minimum
values of the ranges of each unit are divided by 10. The accuracy specifications
remain unchanged except for the measurement time constant which MUST BE is
multiplied by 10 for these low frequencies. This function can only be used with
signals input through the external socket.
On the m/min and ft/min functions the coefficients used have been calculated from
the wheel supplied with the mechanical adaptor used for the measurement of linear
speed.
