The instrument has four values that can be programmed by the user which define :
- a low alarm threshold LO AL
- a high alarm threshold HI AL
- a multiplying coefficient K
- a SCAN print interval
These four values are separately programmable, for each of the twelve measu-
rement functions available with the rotary switch and the

on the display.
On programming mode the C.A 27 does not take any measurements, the analogue
display is unlit, the optical emitter is switched off and the RS 232 interrogation
control is suppressed.
