Error messages
- display of OL message signals an overload, overrange or connection error.
- when switched on, the calibrator may display a malfunction message ERR1, or ERR2, or
even emit an audible "beep" associated with the display of the letters K, T, J, R, S, L, N or
X. If this is so, switch off the instrument, then switch on again. If the fault persists, please
return your instrument to our After-Sales Service (see Ch 5.4 Repair).

3.1/ CONFIGURATION

Procedures
In order not to risk de-calibrating your instrument, we strongly recommend closely following
the procedures described in the following pages. In case of doubt during a procedure, it is
preferable to exit programming immediately by pressing the

3.1.1 Internal programme

The internal programme of your calibrator allows you to configure your instrument according
to your needs. By following the sequence below of "press button" and "message-display", you
have access to different configurable parameters:
- switching On/Off the Auto Off function,
- choosing the unit °C or °F (C.A 63 and 65),
- type of couple (C.A 65),
- reference junction, internal or external (C.A 65).
The procedures necessary for programming each of these parameters are described in the
following pages (Ch. 3.1.2 to 3.1.5).
The programming is saved even if the instrument is switched off.
