6.0 Maintenance
BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTENANCE OR
REPAIRS THE MACHINE MUST BE DISCONNECTED
FROM THE AIR AND POWER SUPPLY LINES.
1. Periodically clean the vertical hexagonal slide with
non-flammable liquid detergent. Lubricate with oil
(Fig. 6.0-1).
2. Periodically clean the wheel support surface with a
non-flammable liquid detergent, dry and lubricate the
sliding surface of the driving pin with oil.

3. Periodically wash all plastic parts with cold water
and soap or mild chemical detergent.
4. Periodically lubricate the cylinder rods with oil.
5. Check the bead breaker supports: replace them if
worn.
6. Drain water from filter 'F' every day by pulling down
the quick drain element 'S' (Fig. 6.0-2).
7. Regularly check the oil level in the lubricator. When
adding oil to the lubricator, disconnect the air supply first
and then remove the cup 'T' (Fig. 6.0-2) by rotating it by
1/4 of a turn and add oil as necessary. Make sure seals
are in place when repositioning the cup.
USE ONLY OILS FOR AIR DEVICES, DO NOT USE
BRAKE FLUID OR OTHER NON RECOMMENDED
LUBRICANTS.
Suggested oils for the filter/lubricator unit:
TAMOIL
Ro:SHELL
BP
TOTAL
ESSO
8. Periodically check the lubricator efficiency. One drop
(Fig. 6.0-2) falling into the transparent cone 'G' every
4-5 operations of the bead breaker indicates that the
correct amount of oil is being supplied in the system. If
necessary adjust the oil flow with screw 'R' (Fig. 6.0-2).

inflation, drain condensation from the tank daily.
