6.3. FITTING OUTLET CONNECTIONS O1
Connect pipe of correct diameter by soldering.
6.4. FITTING PURGE OUTLET E1
Connect pipe of 15 mm in diameter and tighten the thread. Tube fi tting will secure and tighten
the pipe.
6.5. FITTING TO SOURCE OF ELECTRICITY
Any work with electric wiring must be carried out by a trained person with an appropriate
licence according to national standards.
Act upon instruction for use for gas alarm (like Gas Alarm).
The product must be grounded through the anchor bolt at the protective earth label.
6.6. CHECKING OF GAS LABEL
The gas label shall be placed on the cover and under the cover of the unit. Check in Appendix
Nr. 1 - Technical data, what type of gas can be used for this product. If a wrong gas label has
been placed on the product it is necessary to exchange it for the correct one. Optional gas
labels are part of the delivery.
6.7. STARTING UP THE REDUCTION UNIT
Detailed description how to start up the reduction unit can be found in chapter 7.1.
6.8. SETTING OF THE REGULATORS
Information about data for setting of the reduction unit can be found in Appendix Nr. 1. Diff erent
parameters can be set - see below description of the setting.
When the reduction unit is completely set check the outlet pressure. This way you can change
outlet pressure from the regulators.
6.8.1. SETTING LIMITS
Both lines with regulators R1 and R2 should be set to the same parameter. Parameter is
dependant on type of used medical gas and must always be in compliance with EN ISO 7396-1:
A. Medical gas for hospital use with the pressure of 400kPa (+100kPa)
B. Medical gas for driving surgery tools with pressure of 800 kPa (+200 kPa a -100 kPa)
6.8.2. SETTING CONDITION:
During setting the fl ow equals to 8 m
6.8.3. SETTING OF THE REGULATORS
Set ball valves V2 and V4 into the close position and ball valves V1 and V3 into the open
position. Distribution line with regulator R1 is
now active.
Pull up the handwheel of the regulator R1 to
unlock it and set the required parameter of
outlet pressure. Observe the gauge M2 to
see the outlet pressure.
Push down the handwheel of the regulator
R1 to lock it.
Set ball valves V1 and V3 into the close
position and ball valves V2 and V4 into the
open position. Distribution line with regulator
R2 is now active.
Pull up the handwheel of the regulator R2 to
unlock it and set the required parameter of
outlet pressure. Observe the gauge M2 to
