3 OPERATION
The control unit can be equipped with 2, 3, or 4 cells to manage a direction. It automatically
determines the number of cells connected when the power is turned on.
• Interruption of two adjacent cells triggers an intrusion alarm.
• Interruption of the bottom cell can also trigger an immediate or a time-delayed intrusion
alarm (only for COLIRIS II 50/100).
• A slow weakening of the incoming infrared signal on one or more of the cells triggers a
disqualification alarm.
• The prolonged interruption of at least one cell triggers a disqualification alarm.
