9.2 Back-flushing the FCU when the sensor is blocked

A blocked sensor can be flushed clear again using the optional back-flushing kit (see point
11 "Accessories"). Detailed instructions are enclosed with the back-flushing kit.

9.3 To insert new ribbon cartridge in the FCU printer

a) Lift printer cover at the front, and fold back fully.
b) On the right-hand side of the ribbon cartridge, push where marked „Push", until the
cartridge is released.
c) Remove old cartridge.
d) Hold the new cartridge with the „Push" label on the right and feed the paper through
(The paper must be between ribbon and plastic cartridge).
e) Place the cartridge, left side (ribbon drive) in first, then push where marked „Push" on
the right hand side until the cartridge clicks in.
f) Raise the printer cover, thread the paper through and close printer cover.
Approximately 0.5 cm of paper should emerge from the cover.
