· There is no oil flowing through
the particle sensor
(possibly only air).
· The flow meter is faulty.
The flow through the particle
sensor is lower than the
minimum value of 20 ml/min
required to take measurements.
The flow through the particle
sensor is higher than the
maximum value of 80 ml/min
required to take measurements
The internal protection filter for
the flow control valve of the FCU
is clogged.
The clogging indicator fitted in
the OF5C has been activated,
the OF5C filter is clogged.
· Paper roll empty
· Printer fault
and stored in the FCU has
been altered due to an
internal fault.
· The internal back-up battery is
discharged.
Since the selected language is
damaged, the FCU reverts
automatically to German.
· The internal memory for
language has been partially
altered due to internal fault.
· The internal back-up battery is
discharged.

1. Turn flow control valve fully
clockwise
2. Check hydraulic connections
3. Check pressure.
With a pressure
>30bar/420psi, oil must
always flow through the
OUTLET hose, because the
internal bypass valve is then
be open (see hydraulic
circuit diagram in manual)
4. Ship unit to HYDAC for
repair, if necessary.
Turn flow control valve
clockwise (+ direction) until
measurement starts.
Turn flow control valve anti-
clockwise (- direction) until
measurement starts.
Replace FCU filter element
Replace OF5C filter element
· Replace with new paper roll
· Ship unit to HYDAC for
repair, if necessary
· Download the FCU
languages again using the
PC sofware package
FCUDESK.
· If this error message is
repeated, ship FCU to
HYDAC for repair.
· Download the FCU
languages again using the
PC sofware package
FCUDESK.
· If this error message is
repeated, ship FCU to
HYDAC for repair.
