4.7 Installation
Bladder accumulators are preferably to be
installed vertically, with the gas charging
connection pointing upwards. Other installation
positions are possible. However, performance
may be impaired.
Irrespective of the installation position, the
marking on the hydraulic accumulator as
shown on the type code label or accumulator
shell must be accessible and legible.
Allow an area of approximately
150 mm x 150 mm above the gas charging
connection for fitting the charging unit.
4.8 Mounting
The bladder accumulator must be mounted
securely to withstand vibrations during
operation or any break in the connection lines.
Also, the supports must not exert stress in any
form on the bladder accumulator.

5.1 Basic maintenance
instructions
In order to ensure long and trouble-free
operation, the following maintenance
procedures must be carried out regularly:
– Test the hydraulic accumulator pre-charge
pressure (p
) (see section 5.2)

– Check that connections are tight and leak-
free
– Check the valves and safety equipment for
correct operation
– Check the mounting elements
NOTICE
The current regulations for repeat testing in
the country concerned must be observed.
