6. Assembly
• The surveillance camera is equipped with a pre-mounted wall bracket. This can be fastened
to a suitable place using four screws. Use appropriate screws and wall plugs, if necessary,
depending on the surface.
A large enough hole for routing the connection cable must also be drilled if this needs to
hidden and tamper-proof.
Please make sure that you do not damage existing cables or wiring when drilling/
screwing into place.
Select the installation site so it is protected against attempts to tamper with the sur-
veillance camera. For this reason, the surveillance camera should be mounted at a
minimum height of 2.5 m.
• Either run the connection cable from the side under the wall bracket or run it through a hole
in the wall where you want to screw the wall bracket.
Protect the plug against dust and dirt, e.g. with a small plastic bag.
If the connection cable is too short (depending on the wall strength and installation
position), a suitable connection box must be used. Depending on where the camera is
mounted, this connection box must be suitable for outdoor installation.
The cable connection for the video output and the power supply can be positioned in
the connection box.
Lay the cable in such a way that it is protected against tampering, e.g., in a cable duct,
pipe or similar.
