6. Assembly

• Mark the appropriate positions through the three mounting holes in the mounting ring if you need to drill holes to
secure the mounting ring.
A large enough hole for routing the connection cable must also be drilled so that it can be hidden in a tamper-proof
way under the surveillance camera.
Please make sure that you do not damage existing cables or wiring when drilling/screwing into place.
Select the installation site so it is protected against attempts to tamper with the surveillance camera. For this
reason, the surveillance camera should be mounted at a minimum height of 2.5 m.
• Insert the connection cable through the appropriate hole, covering the plugs with a small plastic bag, for example,
to protect them against dust and dirt.
If the connection cable is too short (depending on the wall strength and installation position), a suitable con-
nection box must be used. Depending on where the surveillance camera is mounted, this connection box
must be suitable for outdoor installation. The cable connection for the video output and the power supply can
be positioned in the connection box.
Lay the cable in such a way that it is protected against tampering, e.g., in a cable duct, pipe or similar.
• Fasten the surveillance camera with three suitable screws and wall plugs (if necessary) to the desired position.
