test for leak-tightness / valve function
Warning!
danger of injury through egress of flow medium.
▶ Tighten the body screws / nuts sufficiently.
Applying an unnecessary degree of force to tighten the
body screws / nuts leads to increased wear and therefore
shortens the service life of the diaphragm.
If the valve leaks when the medium pressure rises:
Tighten the diagonally opposed body screws / nuts by a one-
eighth turn until the valve no longer leaks.
This procedure ensures that the diaphragm and the pressure pieces
are optimally aligned to each other and the valve function is ensured.
13.2.2. rV50, rV70 and rV110 manually
operated / single action
Warning!
danger of injury due to flow medium, operating pressure and
movable parts.
▶ Before disassembly, make sure that the valve is not under pressure
and completely drained.
▶ Wear protective clothing.
Repairs
disassembly of the actuator and diaphragm
Mark the position of the actuator in relation to the valve body.
Unscrew the screw (for RV50 Allen-type, for RV70/RV110 hex-
agonal) on the side of the actuator
Unscrew the four body screws / nuts that connect the valve body
with the actuator
. Remove the valve body.

Turn the hand wheel to the Closed position
At the diaphragm, take the pressure pieces out of the actuator
Take the diaphragm out of the pressure pieces sideways
