HYDRAULIC CONNECTION (only for Hydro Kitchen model)

The installer must anticipate and calculate all the hydraulic elements necessary for a proper functioning of the installation (circulator,
expansion vessel, cut-off valves, anti-condensation valves, thermometers, Manometers, probes, etc.), since only the thermo-fireplace itself is
supplied, not including another hydraulic element of the installation.
The Kitchen Hydro model diffuses the heat by conduction from the thermo-kitchen to the water of the heating run. Another very important part
of the generated power of the thermo fireplace is the radiation and the convection.
A correct functioning of the model implies that the loading door is completely closed, performing a combustion monitoring with the controls
described above (see chapter on primary and secondary air intakes).
Important things to consider:
-
It is very important that either the connection or the heating circuit are carried out by qualified personnel.
-
The circuit must be provided with the corresponding safety measures.
-
The model should never be installed by thermo-siphon. It must be installed within a circuit with an accelerator pump.
-
Place all elements of the system (circulator, valves, etc.) for an easy access for maintenance.
-
It is compulsory to place an anti-condensation valve in the installation to avoid the phenomenon of condensation in the kitchen.
-
It is advisable to install the pump start-stop thermostat as close as possible to the hot water outlet of the pail.
-
It is also recommended that the circuit has other systems to dissipate heat, a "heat leak" radiator, a thermal discharge valve, a cold
water intake, etc.
-
The circuit must have a purge valve in its lower part to facilitate its emptying.
-
It is important to calculate the water volume of the installation to size the expansion vessel. A common glass used by other generators
is not supported.
-
The safety and discharge valves (cooling system) must be checked at least once a year by authorized personnel.
- Once the thermo-fireplace is connected to the heating circuit, it is necessary to fill the circuit (consult the technical issues
such as the nominal and maximum working pressure) and we will test its function for 5 or 6 days, ruling out the possibility of
leakage. Once it has been checked by qualified personnel, we may (where appropriate) cover the installation. Bronpi Calefacción
S.L. is not responsible for the costs derived from the total or partial demolition and a subsequent rebuilding of the covering, bell,
pilasters, etc., as well as of the works of painting just in case a possible intervention of replacement or repair of the thermo-
fireplace or its parts.
When for technical reasons it is not possible to install an expansion vessel, it is the responsibility of the installer to install the thermo-fireplace
with a closed expansion vessel. To do this, a series of minimum safety requirements must be taken into account:
1.
In the installation of radiators, it is advisable not to place closures with thermostatic valves on every single radiator.
2.
A minimum part of the installation (radiators) must always be opened in order for the thermo-fireplace to dissipate the overheating.
3.
It is a must to install a calibrated safety valve at 2 bars of pressure. The installation must be filled to 1 bar of pressure.
4.
It is obligatory to avoid any type of siphon in the pipes that go to the expansion vessel.
5.
The loading pressure of the vessel must be the same as the filling pressure of the installation. The volume of the expansion vessel must
be proportional to the volume of water in the installation.
6.
It is advisable to place in the installation a thermostat that cuts the circulator whenever the water in the household pail is below 50 ° C.
This will prevent a possible condensation that occurs when the heat exchanger is turned on.
7.
When the installation requires it, use additives such as antifreeze and anti-corrosion.
To prevent overheating of the hydraulic system it will be required the installation of a thermal
discharge valve with built-in filling, such as the Caleffi 544 (see drawing D11).
The thermal valve is not part of the product and is not supplied with it. The guarantee of the boiler is
valid only with built-in thermal valve.
Connection to the heating circuit
The model Kitchen Hydro has in the back a top fitting of 1 ", we will use this fitting to connect the
output of the heating circuit (one way) (see drawing D12).
At the bottom, you will find another fitting of 1 "to connect the return run of the heating circuit.
