Therefore, it is important to adopt these measures during the ignition phase:
1.
Assure that there is a good air refill in the place where the equipment is installed.
2.
During the 4 o 5 first ignitions, do not load excessively the combustion chamber and keep the kitchen lit during at least 6-10 hours
continuously.
3.
Then, load it more, respecting the recommended load and try to leave the fireplace lit the maximum time as possible, trying to avoid
short ignition periods.
4.
During the first ignitions, you should not place any object on the equipment and, in particular, on lacquered surfaces. Lacquered
surfaces should not be touched while the equipment is heated.
Before the first use, clean all the enameled surfaces of the kitchen with a dry cloth in order to avoid the dirt combustion in the kitchen and the
creation of unpleasant odours. The metallic cover in the models of the kitchen 70 and 90 must be open before use.

IGNITION AND NORMAL OPERATION

To carry out a correct ignition of the kitchen we will follow the following steps:
a.
The selection button is set to the "O" position,
b.
The button of the primary air regulation must be opened to its maximum "MAX",
c.
Open the burner door.
d.
Insert an ignition pad or paper ball and some wood chips into the chamber.
e.
Turn on the paper or the tablet. Close the door slowly, leaving it half-open about 10-15 minutes until a stable flame occurs.
f.
When there is enough flame, we will open the door slowly to avoid plastering and load the home with dry wood logs. Close the door
slowly.
g.
If briquettes are used for ignition, it is important to reduce the primary air flow by half.
h.
When we have the logs on, using the settings of the appliance, (primary and secondary air intakes) we will regulate the heat emission
of the kitchen. These adjustments must be carried out according to the heat requirements. The best combustion (with minimum
emissions) is achieved when most of the air for combustion passes through the secondary air setting.
In addition to the regulation of the air for combustion, the air intake also affects the intensity of the combustion and the calorific performance
of the device. A good air intake of the kitchen needs a smaller regulation of the air for the combustion, whereas a little air intake needs even
more precise regulation of the air for the combustion.
For safety reasons, the door must remain closed during operation and periods of use. It should only be opened to charge the fuel.
For refilling fuel, you should slowly open the door to avoid smoke outlets, open the primary air inlet, insert the firewood and close the door.
After a bit of a time, between 3-5 minutes, return to the recommended combustion regulation.
The appliance should never be overloaded (see maximum fuel load recommendations). Too much fuel and too much combustion air
can cause overheating and, therefore, damage the unit. Failing on this rule it will lead to cancel the warranty.
We recommend burning an approximate height of fuel in the burner about 15 cm per hour with a cross-sectional positioning of the wood due
to the increased air flow. After each recharge, it is recommended to let the kitchen burn the fuel for at least 30 minutes without recharging.
ATTENTION!
Do not use as organic fuels, food residues, plastic objects, flammable and explosive, as their combustion will disturb the
correct functioning of the kitchen and may cause damage as well as pollution of the environment.
On the worktop of the Kitchen 70 and 90 models, you will find a regulation that you must select according to
the desired mode of use. It has two positions (see drawing D14):
"O" - to light and cook. If you wish to obtain a quick cooking, it is necessary to have the regulator in
position O, the primary air inlet must be in a middle position (between MAX and MIN) and the oven
door must remain closed .
"Z" - for cooking, baking and heating. Adjust the primary air inlet, to obtain the desired temperature:
greater air intake implies higher temperature with a suitable fuel load.

10. SERVICING AND CARE

The kitchen, the chimney and, in general, the whole installation, must be cleaned completely at least once a year or when necessary.
WARNING!! Maintenance and servicing operations must be done when the kitchen is cold. These tasks are not covered by
the warranty.
INSTALLATION, OPERATING AND SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
On the worktop of the Hydro Kitchen, the regulation is "O" and "I" (see
drawing D15):
"O" - for cooking, baking and heating.
"I" - to light on and cook.
In both cases, to select the regulation you must use the "cold hands" accessory
supplied (see drawing D16):
