10.1

CLEANING THE CHIMNEY

When the wood is burnt slowly, it produces tars and other organic vapours that combined with the humidity they create the creosote (soot).
An excessive accumulation of soot may cause problems in the smoke outlet and even the smoke duct may suffer a fire. A chimney sweep
should perform this task and, at the same time, examine the smoke duct. During the cleaning tasks, it is necessary to remove the ash pan,
the grille and the smoke baffle plate in order to makes easier the fall of the soot.
It is recommended to use anti-soot envelopes during the operation of the kitchen at least once a week. These envelopes are placed directly
on the fire and you can buy them in the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your kitchen.
10.2

CLEANING THE GLASS

IMPORTANT:
Clean the glass only when it is cold in order to avoid its explosion.
You can use specific products such as vitro ceramic-cleaning products. Do not use aggressive or abrasive products that stain the
glass.
You can find Bronpi vitro ceramic-cleaning product in the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your kitchen.
BREAKAGE OF GLASSES: the glasses, as they are vitro ceramic, resist until 750ºC and they are not subject to thermal shocks. The
breakage can only be caused by mechanical shocks (crashes or violent closing of the door, etc). Therefore, its replacement is not
included in the warranty.
10.3

CLEANING THE ASH DRAWER

All kitchens have a drawer for the collection of ash. We recommend that you periodically empty the ash drawer, avoiding that it is completely
filled, in order to not obstruct the passage of air to the combustion chamber

GENERAL CLEANING OF THE KITCHEN

A regular and proper cleaning allows a correct operation and a longer use of your kitchen. The cleaning of external surfaces should be
done with a soft cloth that does not damage the surfaces of the kitchen. You should not use abrasive cleaning chemicals that damage oven
surfaces and the exterior surfaces, you may use a damp cloth or a slightly damp cloth. Wear protective gloves to perform cleaning tasks.
Clean the inside walls of the combustion chamber using a brush to remove the soot embedded.
With the use and the trace of time, soot deposits can appeared in the kitchen. These deposits can obstruct the air intake and cause a
malfunction of the device. For this reason, it is important to clean the flue pipes, proceed as follows:
Remove the exhaust pipes,
Remove the cooking ring from the top plate using auxiliary tools,
Remove the top plate or top plates (depending on the model),
On the Kitchen 70 and Kitchen 90 models, if necessary, you can remove the oven door as follows (see drawing D17):
1.
Fully open the door.
2.
Place something that stops the hinges as shown in the detail. For example screwdrivers.
3.
Push the oven door slowly to tilt it.
4.
Lift the door up and then the bottom part of the oven.
You now have access to the cleaning register.
