- Let the food drip well and pat it with paper towels so that excess fat is removed.
- Eat the food immediately after deep-frying. Food that should be kept warm should not be placed in a
covered dish. After a while it will lose its crispiness due to the condensation. It is better to keep it in
the oven.
FONDUE APPLIANCE USE
This electric fondue pan has an adjustable temperature setting and is therefore extremely suitable for
various types of fondues, such as the classic meet fondue, but also for a cheese, Chinese or a chocolate
fondue.
- Clean the appliance thoroughly before first use with hot water and a bit of dishwashing liquid. Make
sure that the electric part does not come into contact with water.
- Rinse with clean water and dry the appliance carefully.
- Always use oil that is suitable for high temperatures and replace it after each preparation.
- The oil level must always be between the lowest (min) and highest (max) level indication, +/- 1L.
- The above also applies when cheese or chocolate is used instead of oil.
- Place the fondue ring on the fondue pan in order to prevent oil spatters.
- Place the fondue pan in the middle of the table.
- For the sake of safety, attach the lead to the table. Do not forget to loosen the lead before moving the
fondue pan.
- For the classic meat fondue, thermostat is set at 170º C. set the temperature in such a way that the
mixture will not begin to boil. For a cheese, Chinese and chocolate fondue, it is best to set the
thermostat lower, at 90º C
- Cheese and chocolate must especially be heated up slowly, or it will cake (on to the sides). Stir now
and then to keep the mixture smooth.
- The lamp goes off when the desired temperature has been reached.
- Do not use any sharp objects in the pan. Use the forks to prick only the ingredients, not in the pan.
- After use, remove the plug from the outlet and allow the fondue pan to cool off.
- Store your fondue and, with the lid closed, on a dry and dark place
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never immerse the appliance in water!
Cleaning the outside
Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and dry with a soft clean cloth.
Cleaning the inside
When replacing the oil, bouillon, cheese or chocolate, you can also clean the inside of the appliance.
Empty the pan and first clean the inside with paper towel and then with a wet cloth dipped in soap. Now
rinse the inside well with clean water so that all soap remains are gone and allow to dry well.
Cleaning tip: put a cup of water and dishwashing liquid in the pan. Switch on the appliance on the lowest set-
ting and allow it to stand for about 10 minutes. Then switch off and rinse well.
REPLACING OIL
For fondue, we recommend that you replace the oil each time. Frying oil can be used several times.
For good frying and fondue oil, the amount of time you can use the oil depends on:
- How often the pan is used.
- How long the pan is used.
- The temperature during use.
- The amount of the food (with too large quantities, the oil cools off too quickly).
- The characteristics of the food (e.g. herbs used).
