6.4.1 Additional Information on the Electronic
Pressure Gauge
The electronic pressure gauge has passed a design examination. It has
been developed, constructed and manufactured in accordance with the
EU Directive 2014/34/EU. It has been classified according to Ex ia IICT4
Ga or Ex ia IICT4 Gb It may be used and stored in the explosive zones
1 and 2 up to 60°C ambient temperature. Inspection authority: KEMA
05 ATEX 1090 X. Additional certifications: FM Global IS CL I DIV 1 GPS
ABCD T4 Ta = 60°C, IS CL I DIV 1 ZN 0 AEx ia IIC T4 Ta = 60°C
and CSA IS CLI I DIV 1, GP A, B, C, D T4, Ex ia IIC T4 Gb, CL I ZN 1 AEx
ia IIC T4 Gb Tamax = 60°C, CSA_05CA1692762.
The following applications and actions will lead to the loss of
explosion protection and any warranty claims and are there-
fore prohibited:
• Battery replacement in explosive areas!
• Removal of the front cover of the pressure display!
• Installation of a battery other than the CR 1632 Renata!
When exchanging the battery, it is recommended to also replace the
sealing of the battery compartment!
7.
Use
• Use only solvent-resistant, antistatic, undamaged and technically
flawless compressed air hoses with a permanent pressure resistance
of minimum 10 bar / 145 psi, e.g. Art. No. 53090!
The following requirements must be fulfilled:
• Compressed air connection 1/4" male thread or a suitable SATA con-
nection nipple.
• Ensure minimum compressed air volume (air consumption) and pres-
sure (recommended spray gun inlet pressure) according to chapter 2.
