SECTION 9

Checks to be performed before start-up

1. Tighten all the electrical connections.
2. Level the support base and check its solidity.
3. Fasten the panels.
4. Check the presence of enough room for maintenance.
5. Check the correspondence of the supply voltage to the plate data.
6. Check if the blades of the fans are free to rotate.
7. Check the absence of fluid leaks.
8. Remove the protective film from the casing.
9. Check the tidiness of the installation area.
10. Check that there are no foreign bodies in the vicinity of the fans and of the model to avoid them being sucked in
by the fans.
11. Check the pressure tightness of the model.
12. The model is ready for use after all the instructions and warnings concerning the electrical connections and the
fluids have been strictly adhered to.
SECTION 10

Checks to be performed after start-up

1. The first start-up must take place under the supervision of a qualified technician and must be carried out with
extreme care.
2. Check the rotation direction of the motor fans: a reverse rotation affects the performance of the model.
3. Check the freedom of rotation of the impeller, without rubbing or irregular movements.
4. Check the movement of the fluid.
5. Check the absence of vibrations or unusual noises.
6. Check that the electric absorption is correct, in any case not exceeding what is reported on the label of the
motorfan.
7. Check the correct tightening of the screws (Ref. EN 1090-2).
8. Check that the operating conditions (temperatures and pressures) are in accordance with the design
specifications.
