17. Before connecting the model, make sure that the devices for disconnecting and interrupting the power supply,
protecting against electric shock, protecting the equipment and anything else required by the current regulations
have been used. If wiring is required, the model is supplied with junction boxes for powering the fans.
18. If speed-control devices are used, check their compatibility: non-compatible devices can generate noise and
damage to the fans. The manufacturer does not guarantee the indicated performances for models equipped
with speed-control devices.
19. Accessibility to the installed model, for any type of intervention, must be reserved to expert personnel, qualified
to operate on the plant in accordance with the regulations in force.
20. For installations at height, use lifting platforms, wheeled towers or scaffoldings.
21. To protect from indirect contacts, the installer must provide a differential switch upstream of the model's electric
panel, with adequate electrical characteristics (value in A with reference to the electrical data of the installed
fans - see label on the fan).
Connections to the heat exchanger
1.
Always wear the safety equipment required by the local legislation.
2.
Check the integrity of the heat exchanger circuit by acting on the valve on the inlet header. All condensers are
supplied with heat exchangers charged with dry air at 2 bar (see SECTION 4 Inspection - Storage).
3.
The connections to the refrigeration circuit must be made with a properly deoxidized and dehydrated copper
pipe; the diameter must guarantee the minimum pressure drop and the distribution of the lubricating oil.
4.
Brazing must be carried out using silver welding alloys in a nitrogen atmosphere; special care must be taken
during this phase to avoid heat propagation towards the brazing already existing on the collectors.
5.
Install the anti-vibration device and silencer on the delivery line between the compressor and the condenser.
6.
Create a vacuum in the refrigerant circuit and keep it for at least 2 hours.
7.
Charge the circuit with refrigerant and check that there are no leaks.
Tips for a proper installation
1.
Properly dimension the pipes so as to obtain a minimum pressure drop and achieve values of speed of the
refrigerant that guarantee the dragging of the oil.
2.
In the case of conveyed air flow, pay attention to the maximum permissible pressure drop.
3.
Never reverse the coolant inlet and outlet manifolds.
4.
The condenser should be positioned with minimum exposure of the heat exchanger to direct solar radiation in
order to avoid variations in the condensing pressure.
5.
In all installations, avoid that the air flows are affected by other currents of opposite direction.
